Red Mountain Ventures was founded with the mission of developing and operating Red Mountain Resort and the surrounding area near Rossland, British Columbia with a responsibility to the environment, the people and the spirit of this historic town. Howard Katkov serves as President and CEO of Red Mountain Ventures and comes with a long history of creating and managing truly successful real estate and business ventures. Together with the Red Mountain Resort operations staff, Howard shares a vision of the ultimate comfort, adventure and luxury that this development can offer.

Jim Greene

Mr. Jim Greene graduated in 1986 from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario with a MBA. After successful sale of a business in Ontario, Mr. Greene relocated to Rossland, British Columbia where he was hired as the Director of Marketing for Red Mountain Resorts Inc., the predecessor to the current Company. Mr. Greene was promoted to General Manager of Red Mountain and ran the Resort operations from 1998 through 2007. In 2007, Mr. Greene took over management of the real estate division. Mr Greene resides in Rossland with his wife Louise and daughter Alexandra.
